Add a layer of dazzling golden beauty to your photographs
In this hands on workshop you will create four original gilded works from your own images. We will print your photos in class, experimenting with different translucent papers. Then transform the images by adding layers of gold, silver or copper, creating unique photographs suitable for framing and gifting.
See the difference between real gold leaf, imitation gold leaf, copper leaf, and silver leaf.
Experiment with different papers and adhesives.
Adjust your photos for best results.
Finish your work with varnish and mats.
This workshop is appropriate for photographers and non-photographers.
Please bring or email 3 - 6 digital copies of your own photographs to the workshop.
* materials for three 5x5 matted imitation gold leaf, and one 3x3 real gold leaf images will be provided with additional gilding materials, mats, and frames available for purchase.
This workshop will be limited to 6 people.
